I just finished watching game 1 of the ALCS Royals vs Blue Jays. After watching a good pitching performance by Edison Volquez I cant help but remember the good times and moments of Roy Halladay.
Bringing grit, work ethic, intensity and much more to the table daily. Doc was able to slide and dice hitters by cutting and running fastballs while changing speeds in any count. His mechanics combined with a tough offseason workout program helped him become one of the most durable pitchers in the game. Hopefully one of these young kids took a couple notes from you and we can see something special again.
